« In 200X my Linux experience was fixing lots of broken deps. With Win10 my experience was forced updates (that made my work comp unbootable 3x times), random driver reinstalls, etc. Linux in 2019, pretty much no problems in 2 years. Probably lucky/unlucky, but don’t really care.

Every device I could find in my house had working drivers already installed. Several don’t seem to have Win drivers anymore (or ever, ex: extra keys on Apple keyboards). It even automagically offered to update firmware on 3. > 90% of my Steam games run. Gnome3 is lovely.

Wasn’t really sure what to expect of Linux in 2018, but I have 0 regrets, and it has replaced the Mac as my platform of choice. Going into it being very comfortable with Unix helped though. »

Ça rejoint ce que je disais à un pote ya quelques mois. Avec la 19.10 (et l'arrivée de Gnome 3.34), ça faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas eu une aussi bonne expérience Linux.
