« This week’s @TeenVogue column spotlights the Black women labor activists who’ve been leading the charge for centuries. From the Washerwomen of Jackson to Rosina Tucker, Lucy Parsons, and Dorothy Lee Bolden, the labor movement would be nothing without them

Of course this only scratches the surface of a long, rich, incredibly influential legacy of labor activism. I hope people reading this will do more reading and research on their own to find out more about these women, their work, and their counterparts throughout history
