« Wage growth in Japan is not keeping up with inflation, and real wages fell by 3.8% in November 2022. »
« According to the FTC, Epic will pay $275 million for violating the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and another $245 million for design relying on dark patterns "to dupe millions of players into making unintentional purchases." »
Naa Oyo A. Kwate sur Twitter : "What circle of hell. Bidding on apartments, basically sight unseen."
Quel enfer.

« The last 50 years has seen a dramatic decline in taxes on the rich across the advanced democracies. There is still fervent debate in both political and academic circles, however, about the economic consequences of this sweeping change in tax policy. (...) Our results therefore provide strong evidence against the influential political–economic idea that tax cuts for the rich ‘trickle down’ to boost the wider economy. »

« “No one wanted to be on that project because it ate people. It destroyed people,” one former developer on Fallout 76 told Kotaku. “The amount of people who would go to that project, and then they would quit [Bethesda] was quite high.” »
« How the gaming industry exploits consumers using loot boxes »
« Sources tell Kotaku a Nintendo of America contractor was fired shortly after asking a question about unions in a meeting.

« Hi, my name is Scott McCloud! I'm a cartoonist and comics scholar. Back in 2008, i created a comic book for Google explaining the inner workings of their soon-to-be-released new browser, Chrome.
The comic was a web phenomenon when for 2 days it was the only source of information on this major software release. But now that we're entering the 2020s. Me and the good folks at Google had the same feeling : Chrome has changed so much that we owe you guys an update. »

EDIT : Tim Sweeney ya 2 ans : « While Epic leaves pricing decisions completely in developers' hands, Sweeney said, "after you go through several cycles of game developers making decisions, you're going to see lower prices as developers pass on the savings to customers, realizing they can sell more copies if they have a better price. »

« Further annoyance: "The rich" do not "create wealth". Wealth is *created* by the mental and physical efforts of the people. Those efforts might be amplified by technology, organization, functioning markets, etc, but labor *creates* wealth... » ( https://twitter.com/statsepi/status/1190544313010327554 )
